HAZID: A Hazard Identification Study
A Hazard Identification Study is a systematic methodology to determine unwanted process risks, causes or consequences. This study will be performed using scenarios both for existing installations as well as installations in design phase.
Next measurements will be decided upon both to prevent and combat the process risks, including preventive actions. Barriers (bow tie method), "lines of defense" for harm reduction and control measures are implemented.
TMG provides both an experienced team leader HAZID as well as a secretary in charge of capturing the discussions of the HAZID sessions.
The results of the HAZID sessions are presented in a report that includes all the worksheets and a list of recommendations.
The recommendations can be implemented as a potential project by TMG.
